Wallie is now paysafecard
ICEPAY offers 2 e-wallets as a payment method for your webshop at this moment: Wallie and paysafecard. This will change very soon, because Wallie is recently acquired by paysafecard. This means Wallie will no longer exist and all Wallie payments will be paysafecard payments. Wallie can be used as a payment method until 31st of January 2012, after that it is only possible to pay with paysafecard. Wallie cards can be changed into paysafecards until 31st of March of 2012 at the Wallie Customer Service.
In case you offer Wallie as a payment method in your webshop or you are planning to add an e-wallet to your internet checkout, you need to activate paysafecard instead of Wallie before 31st of January 2012. This is easy, the only thing you have to do is to turn paysafecard to active in your ICEPAY Account.* ICEPAY will turn Wallie automatically to inactive from 31st of January 2012. - ICEPAY advises merchants who want to offer a e-wallet to activate paysafecard as payment option as soon as possible, but at least before 1.31.2012
- ICEPAY will automatically disconnect Wallie as a payment option from 1.31.2012
