Chargeback

Within your online company, you may have to deal with chargebacks.  ICEPAY will handle your chargebacks for you. There is a chance you get a chargeback when you offer credit card or PayPal as a payment method in your webshop.

A chargeback is when the amount paid via an online credit card of PayPal transaction is later reversed by the credit card or PayPal accountholder. There are special rules for the online use of credit cards. One of the most important rules is that consumers have the right to reverse a charge for a period of six months after the payment was executed. This is referred to as a chargeback.
